Trusted New Jersey Home Inspector
When I’m not working, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors with my wife and my dogs. Some of our favorite activities are kayaking and mountain biking near our home. I’m also involved with local animal rescue groups and dedicate a good bit of my free time to supporting these groups and helping animals in need.
I started my career in the real estate industry in 1985 when I became a licensed realtor. As a real estate agent, I called on home inspectors to inspect my listings so I had a clear idea of the qualities needed for a successful inspection. I acquired in-depth knowledge of the sale process and the challenges and worries that come up when buying a home. I also have an extensive background in construction through remodeling homes and working in a variety of construction fields – I even rebuilt and updated my own home!
Becoming a licensed home inspector was the next logical step for me after spending most of my career in the real estate and construction industries. Today, I am certified as a home inspector by InterNACHI, the world’s largest association for professional home and commercial property inspectors. I am also licensed to perform inspections by the state of New Jersey which requires home inspectors to take a national exam and complete rigorous training.
Inspecting homes draws on my previous career as a realtor since I work with a variety of homes and clients every day, and my construction experience gives me a complete perspective on the causes behind the conditions. I’m grateful to share my knowledge as a home inspector to give families peace of mind about their new home.
I welcome you to contact me today so we can work together on your next home inspection!
